No, a iPhone 16 case does not fit the iPhone 17 properly

The camera sits differently, so the cut-out does not match. The size differs by up to 2.00 mm.

We compare the official dimensions, the camera and the buttons. A case can sit a little looser or tighter per brand.

Prices from the shops we compare. Nobody pays for a place. How we rank

How we calculate

We compare three things from the official specifications of Apple, Samsung and Google: the size (height, width and depth), the place and shape of the camera, and the side buttons.

If the camera or the buttons are different, a case does not fit properly even when the size is the same. Otherwise we look at the largest difference in millimetres: up to 0.3 mm it fits, up to 0.6 mm it is tight, above that it does not fit.

The cases below are those the shop says are made for your new phone.
